Get this kind of clip board so you may store completed voter registration applications, absentee voter applications, and National Voter Registration applications, as well as Massachusetts change of address /Mail In Mass Voter Registration.

Also please never wear any campaign pins, buttons or have literature about such out or near the registration tables of areas.

Please have your Cape Cod Rocks The Vote T-Shirt on. These cost us $10. these can be ordered before your volunteer dates.

This will identify you as trained volunteer. If people try to seek your political opinion, don't fall for this entrapment, remind the person who are filling out the applications, that the purity of this campaign is that we want their opinion via the vote to be much more important than you.

Remember when you go to Plimouth Plantation, those 1630- 1650 the folks working there will never get out of character. Don't you either.
Your approach will be your own, but be warm friendly and inviting.

" Hello folks, We are with Rock the Vote, offering Voter Registration for the General Election?" "Do you want to take a minute and register to vote if your are not already registered, or do you wish to update your voter registration information?"

Where will YOU be on election day? If folks will be absent, out of the state, or away at school offer them a Massachusetts Absentee Application.

I also get a easy button from Staples and when folks return the applications ask them to push the button and hear "That was easy!" Congratulate them for taking the time to register. If they are interested in volunteering get their name and phone numbers.

After we get the applications we photo copy them and mail them to the Town Clerks office and then call them about two weeks later, asking them if they have received notice that they are in
fact registered.




Then later, in late October Cape Cod Rocks the Vote will sent them a post card reminder to go out and vote on Tuesday, November 4th
